For anyone watching this a cheaper version of Loving Tan is LA Tan at Walmart. It's $8-$9 and is SUCH a good product. Gives me such a natural tan, people ask me all the time if I've been out in the sun or in the tanning bed!

I can't believe I never thought to use a brush for my face! Also the lotion for blending is a great idea too. Such smart tips!

I learned so much from this - thank you. I am as light as you are, and tanned when I was younger. I am now in my early 50s and I have had multiple skin cancers since my 30s. I only wished they had decent "faux" tan products around when I needed them.

Jaclyn you literally just changed my world of self tanning, WHY HAVE I NEVER THOUGHT OF USING A FOUNDATION BRUSH?! I've tried SO many things to help stop it from streaking like I would literally blend for EVER and it would still be streaky/patchy, and I just used a foundation brush and omg, whole freaking world of a difference. THIS was the trick I was looking for for a flawless tan, no more spending tons of money on primers and endless scrubs and junk that don't work.

Your tan looks so beautiful! Whenever i try to self tan i always come out orange and its uneven. Plus im sensitive to the smell because its very strong.. but i might try this one!:)

I am going to try your trick of using Turbinado sugar as a scrub and to really moisturize any dry spots on my body. Do you have an updated tanning routine? Also, have you ever used Bondi Sands tanning foam? I heard some people prefer it to Loving tan since it doesn't dry as fast but curious to know if you have tried it and what you think! I love those tips, especially using a brush and glove. I was never happy using the self-tanning stuff, because it would just stain inside the lines in my hands.

Oddly, I find that if I shave my legs prior to applying fake tan I'll get tiny little dots that just won't budge. I tend to shave my legs when I shower off the tan and that works better for me and doesn't effect the look of tan at all. Thought I'd put that out there to anyone else who's experienced this! :) x

I was so excited to use loving tan, and it ended up breaking my whole face out in small bumps and some parts of my legs. And it didnt really tan that dark, but it did when i left it on for 4 hours.

Do you have an updated tanning routine? And if you tan once a week with loving tan, how long does a bottle last? ❤️
