No offense but I don’t think this is how it was done in the 90’s. That was a thin dark line around the lips that wasn’t even blended. It looked horrid and that trend hasn’t come back to my knowledge 🙃

I’ve been using a brow pencil for my lip liner for a long time, I love it.
Hehe I've been using a brow pencil as my lip liner for literally years. I could never find a decent colour in a lip pencil, believe I tried, as a drawer full of unused lip pencils can testify. Here in Canada I use Annabelle brow pencil in "Blonde". It goes with every nude/pink lip combo I create. The pencil is firmer, so I warm up the pencil with a couple of twists between my fingers first.
You can use a lighter & just put the liner in the flame for half a second & then blow on it. That definitely softens it up. Also, blond sounds much prettier bcuz I will NEVER understand why someone would want a brownish shade as liner unless they were wearing a brownish lipstick & blending. Who wants their lips to look like they have dirt on the edges? That always grossed me out. Lol 👍✌🌸
Say what you will about Jaclyn (I, myself, an no longer a fan, tbh), but IMO she will always be the queen of blending eyeshadow. I realize this is a heavily filtered/altered video, but you can still tell that blend is amazeballs & I remember how it would look back in the day before everything was so soft focus & airbrushed looking
I grew up doing this! I used the same brown eyeliner for my brows and lips and I remember softening it with a bic lighter so it went on smoothly in my waterline haha. I was born in the 80’s so I just watched what my mom did and copied her. I also remember using a pink revlon lipstick as blush. Good times. 😂

That blush is BOMB!!! It blends out into a dreamy 🍑 on ur face! I thought it wasn’t gunna look good on me cuz it looks bright & I have light skin. always go for rose pink tones! till I blended in & now it’s my fave blush everrr! Got it in the summer thinkin it would be nice with a tan but it’s my YR round go to! 💖👑✌🏼

This is exactly what I wore in high school every day in the early 90's. I knew I was always way before my time😜
I used the covergirl eyebrow pencil in "blond" that came in the twin pack and was red and kinda small. Then I'd use coty lipstick in a metal tube (I thought it was so cool) as my lipstick. No gloss though. I was goth and loved it matte

If I’m correct shade 3 in the benefit brow is warm leaning, the 3.5 would lean more neutral/gray, I now have a use for my shade 3... I got it with my points at Sephora and hate how warm it is on my brows so a lip liner it is now

I’m just a bit confused why you’d do this when you can get brown lip liners everywhere, but I have that brow pencil so maybe I’ll give it a try.

Girl I just tried it with the same exact products! Love ur blush btw, it’s my go to! But it did not turn out like urs! That’s also prob cuz I don’t have my face beat & my lips aren’t as nice.
