My channel is a fun place for people to enjoy the world of beauty! If you leave mean negative comments or resort to name calling, I will delete your comment & block you. My channel is not the place. I think the “all or nothing” concept is really setting you back! Eating a bite of a pizza is not “cheating” and doesn’t make you any more or less healthy. Think about your overall health and diet from a weekly/monthly perspective, rather than a daily basis. You will end up “cheating” more badly if you try so hard to prevent yourself from having those smaller “cheats”
This was perfectly and beautifully said, and very much accurate!
I personally have to be all or nothing when it comes to gluten. It’s like crack I have a taste and it just snowballs into complete disaster. Gluten is one of those weird things that your body wil CRAVE if you have a tiny amount. It’s so weird.
I THINK it can be good to go a month without eating out etc...then start eating out once a week..or something like that ...just to get started and get on track..I used to eat super restrictive /healthy...and then have a day to eat whatever... I didn't like that ...it was out of control and I would feel miserable... I like eating out 1-2 week for a meal and eating whatever....
yeah but some people are all or nothing people...I have a sister like this..she struggles with living the lifestyle of "balance" because if she has some...she wants more..so everybody is not the same....in what method or way works best for them..just have to keep making healthy choices...stay active and keep at it.
Unfortunately a lot of pple can’t have just a bite of pizza. It’s all mental for some pple including myself plus it’s how this food makes u feel in the moment but then the next day u feel like crap. Also she’s documenting her journey of what works & dsnt for her. Go Jaclyn u got this!
I honestly think you would benefit greatly from therapy for food addiction. Feeling this way (obsessive thoughts, loss of control, binging and then guilt, shame around eating, inability to say no despite negative health consequences) about food is NOT okay. You CAN be free from this mindset. You do not have to live in it forever. Getting help will save you SO much time, energy, and heart ache. And your basic, strict/cheat healthy/junk understanding of food is 100% the path directly to an eating disorder. In addition to therapy, working with a dietician would benefit you greatly.
Yup!!!!
@Leah G Yes I do and I have. Food addiction is a controversial topic in the medical world for many reasons. Studies show restriction and the dichotomy of black and white thinking is the main cause for feeling out of control around food.
This is not true. There's no such thing as food addiction. Someone could feel "addicted" to food, but that's because of restriction. The more you restrict, the more you obsess. Food itself is not addictive.
Yeah this is hard to watch because I feel like she’s gaining weight and to be doing it on a public platform doesn’t seem to be working. I totally agree with everything you said and feel that she needs to find something that makes her happy besides food because her whole life is consumed with food and the fact that she binges on it or feels guilty about binging on it. It’s like there’s nothing else in life for her but food and I feel sorry for her!
This is so much true.
Girl you can still go out to wherever you want. You said “lifestyle”, being this strict will not result in a lifestyle change. Enjoy a dinner once or twice every couple weeks you’ll be on track still and be way happier.
I’ve learned just not to eat what inflames me or eat it in moderation. It helped me loose weight and I’m way happier and healthier!
Your battle with food looks like my battle with drugs did. My heart goes out to you.
@Christina Knapp I don't think she sees or understands this as an addiction, yet. I think her laughing is a coping mechanism.
My son was an addict with drugs and this literally is the epitome of addiction and it’s so hard to watch and the fact that it’s constantly funny to her is really saddening!
It's all consuming.
I see a lot of people saying “drop the all or nothing mindset” and I just wanted to say, SHE HAS TO DO THIS HER OWN WAY. For some people the “all or nothing” mindset is the only way. I was weighting a lot in 2019 so I needed to make a change and I cut the junk food and the not so healthy food almost entirely for about 6-8 months and started exercising everyday. After that I reached a weight that I felt totally happy with and now I still eat clean but I let myself eat whatever I want when I feel like it, and I still exercise everyday. So, if the “all or nothing” works for her, just let her do that, everyone is different.
Yeah. All or nothing absolutely works for me as well. I simply cannot do moderation. I hate that about myself but it is unfortunately true
@Kris Uler I never said she's failing on purpose. She's not failing. She's losing weight. I said she's making it LOOK like she's doing bad because it creates good content. It's like having a villain on a show. People will continue to watch for the drama. That's probably what she's doing. If she was doing great every week and eating broccoli all day, that would be boring. She doesn't care what you think. She's a millionaire. It sounds like you are just jealous. If you don't like her, why are you on her page? You're doing exactly what she wants. Giving her views. LOL
THIS
@Cupholder19 To be honest, I think she's just making it look like it's not working. It makes for good content. She's OBVIOUSLY losing weight, if you see her currently. So I think she's just making it look like it's not working. But either way, it's her life. So people need to stop acting like they are experts. Even if it's not working for her, it doesn't affect you or anyone else in anyway. Let her live her life!
I can tell Jaclyn is a wonderful host and really enjoys feeding her family and friends. But I do think that she should ask her friends and family to be a little more supportive of her journey so there’s less temptation.
i totally agree!!!
I agree, even Jordan sometimes too like when he shows her the food he's about to indulge in, like when he factimed her and showed her the pizza he was going to eat like it just seems unsupportive and rubbing it in her face. I do have to say tho that maybe she's okay with it cus that's how their relationship is, it just seems a little like he's showing off things he can eat that she can't.
@Sasha Nina I’ve watched all the videos so far so it’s not about this specific situation but more in general. And I’m not saying they can’t or anything.
I’m sure they incredibly are supportive of this change that she is making but also it was her nieces birthday, if it was her mums birthday I’m sure what they would have been eating differently
In theory I agree but if she’s wanting this to be a life style change, she has to deal with normal eating like that from everywhere. SHES on the journey, not her family and friends
Jaclyn the longer you do this and realise it’s about lifestyle changes (not quick fix diets), the easier it gets, keep going!
If this girl says “cheat meal” or “i cheated” again ima get on a plane to florida and slap her 💀 baby girl pleaasseee switch that mindset! You can do it ✨✨✨ im so here for Jaclyn developing a healthy relationship with food
THIS. THIS. THIS.
I agree it’s devastating to watch!
There’s no such thing as “drinking clean” , alcohol is always bad for you. I’m glad you are cutting it out!
Over-restricting has always led to bingeing for me. I know you have to be strict at first to get started, but be sure to focus on balance and something you can live with long term ❤️ Also a steakhouse can actually be great - I’ll get a really nice steak and two vegetable sides. It’s amazing and filling but doesn’t have a ton of carbs, sugar etc.
Jaclyn, don't be afraid to ask for professional help! I feel like you would benefit so much from seeing a dietician and a personal trainer. I know you get a lot of hate when you don't feature "relatable content" but honestly, since you have the resources, I think it'd be great to share that experience with your audience who may not be able to have access to that kind of advice.
She will she's just trying to gain more followers and clout for losing weight on her own and trying to be normal like us, but we all know she ain't lol
YES I was wondering why she didn’t get a personal trainer and hire someone to make her meals.
@Jacqui Poirier I think it would help her out so much, especially since she talked about needing someone to hold her accountable! I can understand her reasons why she hasn't though, it can be intimidating to hire a personal trainer if you've never had one.
There could also be a part of her that wants to do things on her own but in this case, I feel like it would ease a lot of the pressure she's putting on herself to have everything figured out. I know in the past, Jaclyn's received a lot of hate for sharing things most people don't have access to (like how she was hesitant to upload her expensive skincare routine) but if it works for her, I think she should go for it. If anything, her personal trainer would be giving her helpful tips she could share with her community!
@Melissa Dieckman I've been watching every single one of her health videos and realize where she's at in her mind when she says things like "I can't eat that" and just wish I could help her shift her mindset! That kind of mindset doesn't keep you going for very long. But a dietitian can definitely help with that.
Yes, 💯 on this! She has the means to see an amazing dietitian, that will help her see better ways about food and creating a healthier relationship with food. I just made this comment, seeing this worries me for her younger viewers. A personal trainer would be awesome
I am really concerned that you’re developing a really unhealthy relationship with food - just due to the significant amount of diet culture rhetoric I’ve heard in this series. I genuinely feel for you here as I’m on a lifestyle change as well. One thing I’ve learned is that if your truly what to sustain this for a lifetime, you can’t use words like “cheat day”. Some days you will eat nutritious food, other days you may not. Eating pizza and birthday cake with your nieces are special experiences and I hope you find a way to give yourself grace and balance to do both. I highly recommend speak to a dietician if you’re truly looking to achieve balance. Best of luck to you girly ❤️
In multiples of these videos she mentions that she eats an EXTREMELY light, non-nutrient dense breakfast, eats nothing all day, and then a very light dinner. If these videos are accurate, on average she’s eating 1,000 calories a day or less.. even children are supposed to eat more than that. Her mood is fluctuating and it’s apparent that she’s developing a really unhealthy relationship with food. In her most recent episode, she openly admits that shes developed an addiction to the scale, when at first she mentioned that it wasn’t about numbers.. so clearly this overly restrictive diet is causing her a lot of mental stress and fixation on weight loss. The people in her life should be promoting balance and happiness, not crash diets or over-indulging. But in a later episode, she mentions that her mom is doing a “crazy vegetables only diet”.. so, sadly, I’m worried that some of the people around her may be perpetuating this. I’m not saying she’s wrong for wanting to lose weight.. I’m saying that this method could lead to an ED. Take it from me.. i almost ventured into binging + vomiting to maintain my weight loss before I found a nutritionist. I’m happier, healthier, and still feel good about my weight. There’s a way to do both without the mental stress.
I don’t see how she is when all she is doing is trying to eat healthy. People are pushing her to continue eating like crap… that’s not good.
I made it a routine to weigh myself once a week, the same day of the week at the same time when I get up before eating breakfast. That helps me focus on the number week by week and not day by day because our bodies can fluctuate up and down daily depending on so many factors (and up to TEN pounds in a month due to our dumb hormones.) So proud of you! You’re helping inspire me to keep at it!
This is so true, same with me. Weighing everyday would drive me crazy. Now I weight once every 2 weeks or so and do much better
I would love to see less food demonization and more recognition of what portion control and calorie deficits can do for you. It takes time and you will get there, you just have to keep going ❤️❤️❤️ i am so proud of you for starting and documenting this journey.
I've never seen a family eat so much crazy delicious food! It would be incredibly hard to be surrounded by all of that. So proud of you for resisting the temptation. You are so strong Jaclyn, you will reach your goal! We're rooting for you 💕
i love how hospitable & generous Jaclyn is to her family and friends! she spoils tf out of her loved ones (especially her nieces), but you can tell how grateful everyone is 🥰
@yvonne Booklall agree! And then what's with her husband or bf making pizza Buffalo when he knows it'll be hard for her to resist. I at least hope he's making these pizzas healthier and swapping ingredients for healthier ones. I don't restrict most foods but I do make them less calories if I can
Yeah, but that's causing her to not stay on track. Because those ard her don't share her goals she's setting so it's much harder to deal with distractions
Yeah. You can tell that she has a huge heart full of love. They’re so lucky to have her!!
I’m just loving all the honest real moments in this series!! I feel like that is so rare on social media!!
Try changing “i can’t have that” to “I don’t want that” we tend to want what we can’t have. Make the conscious decision that you do not want that because it is setting you back.
Remember a bite of something or one “unhealthy” meal is NOT going to make u gain weight. Eat a big salad before anything at a restaurant and if u still want the “cheat meal” then have it… most of the time the salad will fill you up and you’ll not want to eat as much of the higher calorie foods.
Thank you for sharing your lows and highs, I can relate to how you feel about food. It's a struggle, but keeping your focus on treating your body well is the best for me.
Girl by the end of this video your face looks amazing!! I def agree with cutting out alcohol. You’ll see less inflammation in your body if you cut it out & you’ll feel a lot better. I’m so happy for you!! You look great ❤️
Girl, you definitely have to drop the "all-or-nothing" mindset. Saying things like "I can't taste that", "I can't have that", "I can't go out for dinner on a Thursday". You 100% can. Moderation is key, baby steps. Keep up with swapping out snacks for healthier versions, and you'll get there!
Problem is, if you're prone to binges, as Jaclyn is, then allowing yourself anything you want is a slippery slope. If I allow myself chocolate every now and then, I'll have one bar and then 3 bars every day for the next six months. Sometimes elimination is useful. If I realise I get no health benefits from chocolate -- only negatives -- then cutting it out entirely means I'll stick to cutting it out.
I agree cause she will crash so hard if she keeps it up that way
She is just trying to convince herself that she can live like this for the rest of her life... I wish she understood that this is not sustainable and this is just contributing to her food obsession
I disagree, just let her do it her own way without your officious advice. Recognise that it is officious. What works for you isn’t necessarily the ‘right way’.
I love this!!! I’m on a weight loss Journey myself and I’ve learned over time that eating a few bites of pizza isn’t as detrimental as the mental anguish I go through if I don’t!
Jaclyn you just inspired me to buckle down and really commit to my journey. Thank you.
Hey Girl love this series u are so inspiring, we are doing this challenge and in this together, holding each-other accountable. One tip because I love u, STOP going by the scale, it’s traumatizing and just mentally unhealthy. Just grab a pair of ur fav jeans that u can no longer fit and use that as ur means of measurement and how much ur loosing. The bigger the jeans fit the more weigh ur loosing, it’s so encouraging and inspiring I love this method much better and I know u will too! ❤️
Jaclyn, I highly recommend the book, Atomic Habits. It really switches your perspective in your decision-making and "good" or "bad" habits. I know it is hard for you to make these decisions for your well-being and health. You aren't alone. How many of us have done something and just stopped because it was hard. We are used to making decisions in certain ways, not by switching our mindset. Good luck!
THIS!! This book was the first step in me starting to get healthier. 7 months later I am off my meds, feeling healthier than ever and 60 lbs down, meeting my weight loss goal. Absolutely life changing!
SO TRUE, I LOVE THIS BOOK! For anyone that needs the book...it's audiobook version is posted on KRclip for free....do iiiiit!
I like how you are so raw in this series. You’re showing that yes you’ve made mistakes, “cheated”, made excuses for yourself and your taking accountability if this. I love that because I too have done that and felt ashamed and just gave up. Your teaching us all that we are all human and no matter how many times we fall, what’s important is that we keep getting up and keep going forward. Love you Jac 💕
Date nights dont have to be limited to food! You can go do activities together, try booking tickets to museums or look for VR expos you both can attend, even painting cafes. Tons of things to do that dont need to be revolving around eating.
Exactly! Or they can even go on dates where u can get a little workout in such as a nice hiking date or nature walk
This was my thought!! Like girl you have money!!! Go experience fun shit with your man!!! Lol
This is something my husband and I have been working on.
Or playing tennis! Or taking a pottery class 💖
I’m so happy for you!! I have lost 9lbs starting my journey with you! I love you and am so proud of you! 💕
Girl, you’ve got to get some outside help to manage what you’re looking to do. You’ve got the resources, take advantage of those tools when you really have the chance. I don’t think any of us need to be hard on you because you haven’t done anything wrong. You’re a human who’s got their inner voice talking to them and it’s up to you to find a way to answer it. ❤️❤️
I love you so much Jaclyn! This is just a genuine question no hate at all ❤️ being in the position you’re in have you considered hiring a personal trainer or nutrition coach to help with your journey? If not I’m just genuinely curious as to why ☺️ love you!!! ❤️
Portioning helped me soooo much!! I still got to eat what I wanted but I would pick and choose what I ate to either maintain my calories or eat at a deficit!! When going out to eat or hanging out with my friends I would make sure I eat light all day before going out and then picking out the healthier choices! Doing a lifestyle change is so hard and giving yourself grace is so important!! Either way I’m so proud of you and being so strong!!!!
Stop making exceptions! Keep holding yourself accountable every day and every meal. It’s not about the weight but making you FEEL GOOD by what you put in! 💕
Jaclyn, you are such a generous person. A true Cancer and sweetheart. ❤️
Girl you're doing so great! I think though sitting down with a personal trainer and a dietician and setting some goals and smashing them out with a support team ready to help you
Thank you for keeping me motivated on my journey as well. I always make sure to watch your videos while I’m on the treadmill. Keep it up girl! We got this!
Jaclyn has the $$ to do this the easy way yet she chooses the hard way instead and is out here struggling like the rest of us. Can we just take a min to appreciate that. We love you Jaclyn, you are a true inspiration sis! Keep up the good work.
well there isn't an easy way even if you have money... IMO...you still have to make the changes and do the work...
@TheArnotts that is laxative abuse, not bulimia.
So true she can do a lipo or something but what’s the point paying so much money if you aren’t going to take care of yourself? You will gain all that weight back and twice of the weight she was before
There is no easy way.....no amount of money makes dieting/weight-loss "easier"
Her money is none of your business
The struggle is real, y'all. I really appreciate Jaclyn sharing her journey like this. I relate in a lot of ways. For me, it starts with empathy and compassion for myself and others. We can do this ❤️🥰
Don't call it a diet girl. I've struggled my entire life. Food addiction is real. Find something that works for you, eat what you want but watch your calories. Go for walks, drink water. You're beautiful the way you are.
Sooooo true!!! Thank you. We are on the same path. It's even our mission: "To help build self love and happiness for all those around us."
I absolutely love Jaclyn and have been here since 1m, I'm so proud of her for this journey. I wish Jordan would do it with her i feel like that would make it easier for her💗
If one bite of salad a day won’t make you healthy, then one bite of “cheat foods” a day won’t make you unhealthy. Enjoy life. Everything in moderation. Keep it up 👍🏼
exactly
Why is Jordan making all this “guilty” delicious food around you while your trying to go on this journey?! Makes it so much harder! Rude! Lol!
I know I couldn’t do it with all that bomb ass cooking and smells going on lol you are so strong girl! Definitely an inspiration 👊🏻
I didn't feel so much Jordan but everyone else she surrounds herself with for work are totally out of hand, like genuinely sat there eating cupcakes and chips and all sorts in her face.. Crazy.
Keep to the great work, Jaclyn!!! Please know most things worth doing are sometimes the most difficult. No matter what, I’m proud of you for doing what makes you feel good. Stay strong & true to yourself-no worries on what others think, lovely lady❣️❣️❣️
Watching your videos reminds me so much of myself. You’re in the cycle of addiction. It’s a compulsion that you obsess over and just can’t say no, and then feel like shit about it, which makes you want to eat more. My advice as a lowly internet stranger - try going to an Overeaters Anonymous meeting. It can give you freedom from this entire cycle. It’s not easy but it’s worth it. Good luck!
You make me feel so comforted. This channel is such a safe space I really appreciate and look up to you
Use the word “treat” instead of “cheat”
Telling yourself that what you ate was you “cheating” will cause you to feel bad about yourself simply from eating food. It creates a negative relationship with certain foods. But if you are treating yourself… it hits different :) keep up the good work!
My husband and I love to go hiking-it’s free, no food, and you’re getting exercise! I also love hiking because it’s a great coping skill when my anxiety is bad. Definitely recommend and you’re lucky to be in an area where you don’t have to stop hiking in the winter!
I’ve been loving these videos Jaclyn! I’ve always been here for the makeup but right now I find myself in a similar spot as you and hearing what you say about your feelings, how your days go, how your clothes fit. All of it, it really validates my feelings and let’s me know I’m not alone, but I too can find courage to make big changes. So thank you ❤️
Jaclyn I’m so so proud of you, keep going we’re in this together! ❤️❤️
It’s crazy how relatable your journey is . I’m going thru the same thing and it’s just a constant battle lol but i love how honest you are with us and i love you beautiful of a person you are inside and out ! Thank you for being you ✨
Oooooooo... you said some powerful words there! "Going back to my foundation." Yessss!! It's okay to ease up every once in a while, but establish yourself in that foundation! When you slip up, or maybe just make the choice to eat something you usually wouldn't, immediately return to that foundation. If you want to keep building a bigger, better, stronger you, a good solid foundation is everything!
Love you Jaclyn! I am an OG follower and you have inspired me so much over the years. From makeup to style and now to living a healthier life and taking more care of myself. I really appreciate all the effort you put into the content you make for us and I'm so excited for your new journey. I'm here for you all the way!!! ❤❤❤❤
Ughhh I literally just started watching your channel and I’m obsessed with your journey! You are making me want to get back into my healthy lifestyle! You are beautiful inside and out, you go girl!❤️🥰
Thank you for sharing your journey in such a real and honest way!!!. I hit my wall when covid started and have lost 65 lbs. The one thing I can say is that finding your own way to manage your food is so important !.. Ive found healthier substitutes for most things but I allow myself a treat from time to time. Having groceries delivered has been huge because I am not subjected to impulse buying. Ill usually allow a salty and sweet treat (one serving size) each time I purchase my food online. It helps so much to keep the trigger foods out of the house especially in the beginning. Having supportive friends who don't offer me trigger foods is huge also ! They just need to be trained lol. For me it was very difficult to stop being overly critical of myself especially in the beginning. Weight loss is tedious and takes alot of time to do it in a healthy way. I can see you are finding your way as I did. Please keep going !!! Oh !! One other thing is that my issue with acid reflux has been reduced by 90% with my weight loss...also blood pressured and cholesteral numbers are now in the normal range. Thank you again for sharing yourself !!!
I’m loving this self journey vlog series 🥰
Me too ❤️
Me too!! We can truly relate to her so much on a real level
I love this series so much . It makes me take accountability for me ❤️💓🤞🏻
So proud of you! Keep up the great work! Think about how fast a month can go by and where you’ll be before you know it! It’s SO worth it!
As far as the scale, everyone fluctuates throughout the day. Maybe weigh yourself every week or two instead? That way you never feel discouraged when it could just be water weight or whatever:) I’m excited for u!

I am so excited for you, Jaclyn! I have just started my weight loss journey and seeing you get to this point is so encouraging and I hope I can get there too! I hope your little pup is okay, I have a Shih Tzu, her name is Cara she is my child lol. My Cocker spaniel used to have seizures really bad. He would look so scared when he would come to. I pray your little guy is ok. And I almost melted when Jordan was drunk talking about buying you a ring, etc... I'm so glad you have found such an amazing man! Y'all def fit together! Anyways...keep up being awesome girl!!!
I’ve watched your videos for so long and I love seeing you like this and the genuineness in your journey and being so open and honest about it. Every journey to change your life comes with bumps in the road but your pushing through it so happy for you Jaclyn keep up the great work. Hope to see more videos like this an all the way through 💙🎊😊
Hi my love. You’re doing great. I’ve struggled with my weight for years. I’m finally in a better shape. One thing I learned is truly listen to your body! YOU KNOWWWW when you’re wrong and when you’re right. I use to indulge in all these foods because I loved it and thought “when Am I going to have this again, can’t pass this up” truth is .. you can. Learn to truly challenge yourself and once you’re on a good diet regimen you then can listen to your body and treat yourself to treats. Not cheat days (don’t call them that because it can make you sad). Treats. If your body wants a yummy dessert then you deserve it. Trust me … you’ll feel healthy physically and mentally. As for date nights … I don’t stop my diet from allowing me to go anywhere. If we want Italian I’ll go but not pasta :( I’ll have fish and veggies and etc, it’s also yummy and you can enjoy with your partner 🤍🤍🤍🤍 love you so much!!!!
My husband and I have the adventure challenge book! It has great surprise dates that are more than just a dinner date. Plus it keeps it fun and exciting because it's always a new idea
Remember, you are not “bad” for eating “unhealthy.” Food has no morality. A healthy relationship with food is a vital part of a healthy lifestyle
@Alex Hamame ok cool. You just mean not to say you yourself as a whole are bad for making a bad decision, that makes sense
@Angela never said you can. That has nothing to do with my comment. Having a healthy relationship with food doesn’t mean eat junk food all day. It means that if you do eat junk food you shouldn’t feel bad about yourself or think you’re a bad person
But you cannot eat unhealthy foods everyday..
@Donny Reiss what does that have to do with my comment at all
@Diana Love that’s not what my comment said whatsoever. There are foods that are bad for you. I said SHE is not bad for eating them. Saying “I’ve been bad” or “I’m going to be bad later and eat this” is not healthy or productive. You are not good or bad for eating certain foods. Food has no morality. Eating cake doesn’t make you bad. The cake is “bad for you” but you are not bad for eating it. It’s a slippery slope into self destructive behaviors and disordered eating when you start hating yourself for eating certain things.
Jaclyn! I'm loving these videos! I just wanna let you know that starting a healthier lifestyle/fitness journey is ALWAYS ALWAYS gonna be hard the first few weeks. At least it's how I felt when I did. Stick to it! It gets better I promise
That mini car monologue at 15:45 made me feel SO happy for you, Jaclyn! I've been on a self-love journey too over the past few months and I'm loving the realness but also motivation you share with us
Girlllll!!!! I’m on a weight loss journey too and omg I can see your results in your face! You are so inspiring❤️ Thank you for being real and making these videos. It’s honestly a struggle and I can relate. So happy I’m not in this alone. Love ya beautiful 😘
I’m literally bing watching this series! It’s very motivating thank you for being so honest and putting yourself out there! This is great!!!
No food is “bad food”.
Avoid foods that makes you sick / cause stomach issues or inflammation.
But give yourself grace sometimes. It’s a marathon, not a sprint!

I’ve been on a similar journey and working out has given me the motivation to keep going because of the progress I’ve seen but my eating is still pretty bad and I get so mad at myself for not being more in control of my cravings
I can honestly see the glow in your face in your current stories 🌟 love you Jaclyn rooting for you!!
When Jaclyn said "my willpower is on... fleeek...." I lost it, yas queen xx
PCOS? 🧐 Im loving this journey by the way!! You are doing amazing and I can’t wait to keep watching! You inspire me to push myself! 💪🏼
love how jaclyn is always surrounded by friends and family - regardless of her health journey. she’s a family woman hands down! would definitely make an awesome, loving, charismatic mother
So proud of you Jaclyn!!!! Keep going, you rock!!!
Love you!! Keep it up. You’re motivating me. I started with and both us can do this!
You’re doing so well Jac!!! Keep it up! I remember there was a point when all my inflammation started to really decrease and the weight literally fell off. Inflammation is such a battle. It took time but you will get there!!! 💕💕💕
Love you Jaclyn!! I love this style of video and edit!!! So good I’m proud of your journey!! You look great, it makes me happy to see you again ✨ beautiful
Jaclyn seems like the coolest aunt! Love how she stocks up on snacks and candy for her nieces whenever they come over 🥺
Jaclyn has the $$ to do this the easy way yet she chooses the hard way instead and is out here struggling like the rest of us. Can we just take a min to appreciate that. We love you Jaclyn, you are a true inspiration sis! Keep up the good work.
I'm with you on evening workouts! Jaclyn, your video is so encouraging and I can relate a lot. I support you 100% Jaclyn. I'm also on a weight loss/self care journey myself. Keep up with the good work sis!!!
awwww ive loved these videos thanks for being real
you're being such a big motivation for me, thank you for being so real.
Love this series! I’m on this journey with you too! You totally could’ve done the Italian steakhouse though and had a steak and salad. Your doing great! Keep it up! Slowly but surely 👌🏼
EXACTLY. It’s not about doing a 180 over night it’s about just making ‘better’ choices as you can that add up. The small pizza WAS a better choice than the full Alfredo. And that’s the correct mindset. Better and better.
I literally feel like I’m watching a video about myself... I’m struggling sooooo hard about changing my eating habits and making healthier choices. I’m constantly eating junk not even because I’m hungry but just because it feels good. 😭 thank you for showing the raw and realness of trying to change your lifestyle! ❤️
you are you no matter always❤️
It’s amazing to be healthy we only have one body self-care super important but just remember that a lot of these things are fleeting especially the external even like some internal qualities in certain things about our opinions or perspectives or whatever these things are all subject to change and we always can change your minds
and sometimes we don’t always have control over what changes
And their reasons and things in identifying and subconscious in whatever their qualities and aspects to each era of who we are internally externally healthy unhealthy whatever their cosmic lessons there are personal journeys but just remember that you are never any less you because you change It’s personal evolution.
I really love these personal vlogs!! Your journey is incredibly inspiring and I’m just here to say that I support you!! Consistency is key. Be that bitch and then some. Nothing better than someone working on themselves. God bless!!
I would just focus on portion control more than anything. It’s always been a huge help to me. Good luck to you, girl!
Girl you’re so rich. You can literally hire someone to train you and cook healthy meals for u. Do it for yourself!
She is living from These Videos
No I like the fact that she is trying it herself because not everyone can afford to just hire someone. This is way more relatable.
That content won't get clicks tho. Her journey has to be relatable to rack up views.
Way to go Jaclyn. Thank you for being real!
You're doing amazing. Even with the setbacks, the fact that you're making it a priority and it's in the front of your head is a huge step. Surround yourself with the things you want to be. You're doing great!
I find your journey so inspiring! Thanks for posting all the real life moments.
i love how real and raw you are being about this journey i have been dealing with it my whole life so i know how hard this and i think this amazing keep going girl you got this! we got this!!!
So proud of you!! When I struggle to find motivation to go to the gym after an exhausting day working at the hospital, my sick patients remind me of what a privilege it is to be able to move my body, and how important it is to get into exercise habits while I’m young. Health is such a blessing, so I want to show appreciation for it by maintaining it, and build strength and physical/mental endurance so I can be the best nurse possible. You’ve got this!!
I have been binging these and it made me grocery shop and meal prep ON A SATURDAY NIGHT! Thank you for sharing!!!!
I'm soo proud for you and your progress! I just started my journey yesterday. I need some more heathy recipes from you girl cause the food you be eating looks bomb!
Wow! I love cornbread! Also, this is what works for me stay off the scale because with your clothes, you will know. Be creative with food and stay away from all foods that bloat you up! It’s hard for all of us! Jaclyn you wanting to change the way you eat, actually encourages me too. Thank you for sharing!😘I like to be creative with vegetables and salads. Put salmon in it, chicken, etc. Lord gives us the discipline we need to be the BEST WE CAN BE ! 🙏🏻 ✌🏻
Date night with NO food! Bowling, axe throwing, batting cages, hiking, rock climbing (in or outdoor), laser tag... I'm sure there's lots of others but that's what I was thinking! Also, even trying to watch what you eat you can still eat out- just like at home, make adjustments and understand going out to eat is a one-off in and of itself, therefore if you aren't super strict, its OK!
Totally!!
@Christine beautiful city. I just got back last week from a visit to mtl & tor.
@Christine LMAO
@Dallas Och i googled it and apparently this
Looks like a thing. I have never heard of this before today. You learn something new every day
@jalmario I’m in Montreal.
You look fantastic and honestly this was super encouraging and motivating! Good luck to you!!
I genuinely look forward to these videos each week. You’re doing everything right Jaclyn- don’t be so hard on yourself!! The hardest part is when you’re surrounded by people not on the same health journey as you. It can be so hard to be strict with yourself when you’re the only one on this major lifestyle change! It will get easier but don’t so hard on yourself :)
Jaclyn, I wanted to take a moment to thank you so much for doing these videos. I am so grateful for you sharing your real life struggles with food, exercise, self love, etc. I listen to your videos when I'm at the gym. I appreciate you!
I completely agree! This series is so relatable! 💜
I love this new aspect of you! Your brand is on point. Food, diet, makeup, home decor, best of… I’m a fan again! Luv in it! Thank you!
You are an amazing person!!! I am so proud of you for what you are doing and sharing with the world :) You have truly inspired me to do this challenge. I recently lost my father due to COVID-19 and I have been gaining a lot of weight and being really depressed! You have inspired me to change and make my life better!!!
Keep going, babe! You are so encouraging and I’m so proud of you.
This is really motivating me to get back on track I do eat clean n restrict myself because when I indulge I go hard it’s not just a piece it’s the whole thing ❤️ but I feel amazing and I’m so happy for you Jaclyn seeing you happy in yourself with your journey makes me so happy I love you n your family so much ❤️
